How much is school tuition?

You want a safe, high quality school environment for your child and we provide that at no cost for tuition for grades K-8. We do have minor mandatory and optional fees that change by grade and year. We also ask that families support our fundraisers throughout the year. Contact us for further details.

What is the status and location of the school?

We anticipate being an authorized public charter school in the city of Chicago. Our planning team is reviewing potential sites for our revolutionary school. Check out our blog for updates as they happen.

Can I visit the school?

Of course. After renovations, school tours will be available by appointment.

FAQ: FAQ

Can I volunteer or donate?

We'd love either or both. We always have needs for volunteers, from lunchroom and recess supervisors to classroom aides, to running tours for prospective parents.
Donations are always welcome and while cash goes a long way to supporting our students, we also welcome donations of things ike gently used uniforms, books, and school supplies.

How do I get a job with Rev Academy

We'll likely begin interviewing in 2019-2020.
We're looking for people who believe in students of all races, nationalities and religions. Candidates believe in supporting students to work out their differences civilly. They believe in giving students a second chance.
We choose candidates who treat students and staffs as partners in our endeavor to create a better world.
We want candidates who lead by example.

How does my child get in?

  • Your child must meet age requirements for the grade he or she is applying to and must be a resident of Chicago. There are no testing requirements required for admission.

  • We do require a previous school report card and an interview with the student. These have no impact on admission but give us key points to discuss with the parent(s) or guardian(s) on appropriate class placement and supports that may be needed to make your student successful.

  • If there are more applications than there are open seats, a random lottery will be conducted to select students who will gain admission.
