Rev Academy takes pride in the process we take to recruit, retain, and train the best teachers. We start with a thorough review of their qualifications including education, desire to work in a student-focused social justice school, and their love of continued learning. Next, we conduct one or more demonstration lessons where the potential teacher actually teaches in front of our students so we can determine fit not only academically but socially with our culture. Finally, final candidates undergo a thorough reference and background check.
Each grade stream (K-2, 3-5, 6-8) has a master teacher who has years of experience and is personally approved by the CEO to provide mentoring and support for all teachers and support staff in the stream. The team is built to provide strong supports to educate our students.
